När jag började investera via Trine det var små anläggningar ute på landsbygden till enskilda familjer. Det tyckte jag kändes viktigare än industriella anläggningar

Hi Lars,
Initially, Trine funded Solar Home Systems (SHS) companies targeting communities with limited energy access in emerging markets. This market, mostly comprising young companies operating for less than a decade, has grown competitive. While prices became more competitive, profit margins decreased. Consequently, some SHS firms struggled to become profitable, hindering investor interest.
This prompted market consolidation, with smaller companies shutting down or merging with larger ones. Trine remains committed to the SHS sector but now prioritizes lending to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar sector, adopting a more selective approach.
