Why not widen the scope of investments beyond solar towards other areas of sustainable development such as organic farming, agroecology, livelihoods for family farmers?
…access to clean drinking water.
Construction of wind power farms (and supporting infrastructure such as battery storage, etc) would be very close to the original mission as well.
I am very interested to invest in battery storage too! Especially combined with solar in a microgrid. I love success stories like the island Ta’u in American Samoa: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/tau-american-samoa-solar-power-microgrid-tesla-solarcity
Why is this marked as completed? You can still only invest in solar.
There are often loans for battery-electric forklifts which save huge amounts of diesel every day.
While our primary focus remains on solar projects, we have partnered with an electric forklift distributor in West Africa: https://trine.com/borrower/18. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to exploring and investing in various renewable energy products beyond solar. We are continuously seeking out new and innovative opportunities in the renewable energy sector to diversify our portfolio and contribute to sustainable development.
