Remove leaderboard (ranking)#177

Remove the rankings (both overall and by country). I have never given permission for my data to be used for ranking purposes. Even if you only use the first name, it feels like a violation of privacy.

Not sure when it was added but now there is an option under the list that says “opt out of the leaderboard” so it should now be possible.

I know and I have complained about it that I was, without my permission, added in such a ranking - leaderboard. So, they have removed me already.

My problem is: that you have such a leaderboard. Even it is legally allowed, I think it is morally not allowed to add people without their knowledge to such a leaderboard.

And, I do not see any reason to have such ranking. As far as I know Trine is not a game.

Anyway, if you will not finish with these rankings I plan to stop in investing in Trine.

Please, let me know if you see any possibilities to stop with the ranking completely, so I can continue my investments with Trine ( as the goal of Trine is in line with my own priorities).

If they had written out your full name then I could maybe had agree with you but as it´s just the first name, I have harder to do so. The names I see in the list is names that there exist thousends with whose names so there is still no way for me to figure out who it´s.

Even if I agree that this shouldn´t be a game I don´t see the problem as it´s just a list of names with no way to figure out how it´s.

Maybe there is a different view of this in different countries as I know that here in Sweden it’s quite easy to get out quite a lot of information about someone as so much is consider public information.

Now Trine is working international so maybe you are right that they should think again about this but me personaly I really don’t see the problem with it.

just one last remark, as I do not think we will agree on it. I do not invest in Trine because I like gaming (with rankings etc). Is your bank in Sweden also publishing ranking lists of how much on savings, or using digital payment or…. with using your first name or your full name?
And, only first name: my first name is very rare, so even easier to find me compared to my family name. So, not a valid argument at all! And you even say: if they had used my fill name MAYBE you had agreed.

And this is not about personally seeing any problems with it, this is about morality, privacy and clients.

Maybe one last question: what is your function within Trine and what is your full name?

My name is Viktor Uneus, and I have no function within Trine except that I use there platform to invest in prodjects, similer to you I believe.

Then, how did you get any role in starting this questionaire for Trine? Just private initiative?? That would not be possible, not even within Sweden. So, please, clarify!
