Shorter loans (not just 3+ years)#26

I would love to see more 1 or 2 year loans (I understand if 1 year is too short). Lately it feels like all loans have been 3 or 4 years. As an investor that really puts a limit on how much money I can invest.

I agree. With 1 year loans I would invest much more.

I would be happy if they just not increased the time with around 12 months for each new loan. 1-2 years run time is of course better but this last 54 months was a joke. A lot of things will happen with the climate in 54 months (especially in these countries) making it a very unsure investment. Also since the interrest is not for instance 5% with yearly payments but 5% divided by 4,5 years the actual interest only 1,1% per year which I can find better in many lending services.

I have seen the duration of loans increase over the years since I started investing in 2016! Some are 84 months now..that’s totally excessive. 36months is more reasonable. Thanks

I think the integration of Stride Solar as a Trine borrower meets the requirement of this idea, providing investment opportunities with a duration of two years.
