"ISK" Account#31

Tax declaration is very tricky to understand! I do understand the users are from all over the world but, I would LOVE it if you could establish some form of cooperation with a Swedish bank so the investments could be made through an “ISK”-account set-up.

Hi Ellen!

I completely agree with you! It’s proven to be quite tricky as the type of assets we offer through our platform is very different from other type of financial products but we have been and will continue to be in discussions with the Swedish Tax Agency to see what can be done to simplify this further ahead of next tax season. It’s hard to know where we will land but we do hope that we will be able to make some improvements, it’s definitely a high priority for us.

Best,
Hanna

I was thinking of sending an e-mail about this until I actually discovered the suggestions page. I had in mind my own private pension ISK, it would be great if I could use that money for this if I want to.
I have no idea if it’s a good suggestion or not but try pinging Avanza. They have a pretty good website/app and my gut feeling says they could easily implement something if they wanted to.
Best of luck and I hope this becomes a reality.

Hallo, or maybe you could present a suggestion on how to fill out the tax work? (like other institutions can provide for example K4) Of course with disclaimers that it´s the user who is actually responsible for filing the correct information to the authorities. Should probably be easier instead of developing the ISK-solution.

Kind regards,
Johan

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion and for your patience while we looked into this request.

Unfortunately, Trine’s service does not meet the requirements for ISK eligibility, as ISK accounts can only hold publicly traded financial instruments, EEA-based securities, or cash.

Best,

Liz
