In the case of needing to make an exit, a second hand market for solar loans would be greatly appreciated.
you could easy offer a swap of creditors (taking over the remaining credit with a small discount) for sums of over 500/ 1000 €

This would be very good for diversification as well! I would be able to invest in older projects with shorter duration, when few new loans are available.
I have decided to limit my investments until a certain age of mine. As of now I can only make investments which duration is shorter than my end date. However with a second hand market I could continue investing with any duration and by the end of my own investment period sell my investments.
I really like the idea. And to your point Hans.sallberg, it would also be nice to have that information, that is the current “lifetime” of your portfolio, at a glance somewhere. For instance in the portfolio section an additional pie chart could indicate % of the portfolio ending in 2030, 2040 etc. (including all the end dates of your portfolio).

An exciting feature but also could create negative effects/situations for Trine & our borrowers so very important not to take on unknown risks. If we have a major negative macro event such as Covid outbreak & War in Ukraine the consequence might be that we will see major volumes listed on the sale side taking up all the incoming volumes and as a consequence our partners not receiving capital for several month potentially jeopardising their business and projects during development. On the flip side this would enable you as investors to re-balance your portfolios and solve the issue of long tenors.
Next step for us will be to:
We will keep you posted on the progress going forward.
