How about making investments in solar in Ukraine?#80

Why not provide the opportunity to invest in solar in Ukraine? I will accept 2% return if necessary

Hi Kristian, We will probably see a big reconstruction of Ukraine when the war is finally over. It will require an investment of historic proportions. We of course hope that solar energy and other renewable technologies will be central to the build-up and I’m sure many of our investors would be interested.

However, it is not something we are looking into , since it is too early to start any projects in that area or even to start planning them.

What about the areas close, like Poland or Moldava?

We do not rule out any markets, although Poland and Moldova are not our primary focus.

In recent years, energy prices have been low in Europe, it is only in the last few months that they have increased drastically, so if the right project appears, it may become relevant.

I see that this thread was opened two years ago. Now, western and central Ukraine are “stable enough” to build solar panels in, and it is needed. Of course a disclaimer about the ongoing war is in order.
